BODY GLOVE TEAM RIDER MATT PAGAN, BG PRESIDENT RUSS LESSER AND JENNY LANE JOINED THE LAPD'S SOUTHEAST DIVISION AND TOOK KIDS FROM THE WATTS AREA SURFING AT TORRANCE BEACH. THE LAPD KNOWS THAT IN ORDER TO STOP CRIME THEY NEED TO REACH THE KIDS AT AN EARLY AGE. "IT'S ABOUT CHANGING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE WATTS COMMUNITY AND THE LAPD," SAID SOUTHEAST CAPT. PHIL TINGIRIDES, A FIRST-TIME SURFER WHO GOT IN THE WATER AS WELL. THIS PROGRAM HAS SHOWN A MARKED DECLINE IN CRIME. THE CREW HERE AT BODY GLOVE KNOWS HOW AMAZING IT IS TO SURF AND WE ARE SO HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO SHARE IT WITH THESE CHILDREN.
