neo-funk, rock & roll, reggae and electronica.
Our main performer Kyle Van Band plays Rock, Irish Cajun, and
Country music that
celebrates the wandering of wide open spaces. Combining rhythm &
groove
with powerful vocals and fun lyrics, a Kyle Van Band show is both
down to earth and exciting, bringing good toe-tapping energy to every
audience they meet.
But did you know he once taught surfing from
this very shop?
Drummer Mike Mitchell of Imperial Beach has played for
audiences of
10,000 or more, often barefoot, and sometimes standing.
Grown up
in
La Jolla, Professor Fritz now hails from the rocky hills of
Escondido, and serves up good times with his telecaster guitar. JT's many talents include mandolin and
harmonica, and in case Kyle forgets his bass
ukulele, we also have many bassists to choose from and drummers such as
Bob
Pickford and Rob Marino, who sit in without missing a beat.
