Hundreds of industry insiders, friends and family stopped
by this new 21st Century action sports mecca to celebrate its
official opening in Irvine
this week.
Upon arrival, guests were able to grab some food and
drinks, tour the company’s new digs, check out the 2,000 square foot
retail showroom, admire the “Make Your Mark” wall stacked with
employee artwork, take their photo in the building’s indoor photo studio,
and shoot some hoops in the indoor basketball court. Hosted by La Jolla
Group CEO, Toby Bost, and the
company’s executive team, La Jolla Group brands displayed their own
individual style & vibe to entertain guests: …Lost set up a “Find the Planets” scavenger
hunt for a chance to win a custom surfboard; O’Neill team riders including the Gudauskas brothers and Timmy Reyes mingled amongst the crowd in
the company of a Hyperfreak ice sculpture; Rusty set up a “Spin to Win” raffle for a variety of prizes; and Metal Mulisha riders Jeff “Ox” Kargola, Ryan
“Fluffer” Hagy and Jackson Strong performed an amazing (and at times heart stopping!)
jump demo to live music under the ramp.
Guests who arrived early also got a chance to see Metal
Mulisha founder Brian “The
General” Deegan fly in via helicopter to say hello before he
headed out to practice for the X Games. La Jolla Group’s New Corporate Headquarters sets the stage for the future of action sports…
