Freeline Sports, Inc., maker of the popular Freeline Skates, today announced Team Freeline 2009, a lineup of both pro and amateur riders, who will travel the country for promotions and competitions to recruit new members and raise awareness of Freeline skating.
Team Freeline will be responsible for organizing and participating in this year’s Freeline Skate competitions, as well as supporting retailer events, nationwide. Team Freeline will also head out to various snow resorts during the winter, skate events, surf events, music festivals, schools, and youth organizations to teach new riders about Freeline Skating.
The 2009 team consists of male and female riders from around the country, who are carefully chosen based on how well they can skate, if they can perform basic Freeline tricks, whether they can bring their own style to the mix and how well they interact with the other riders.
“Every year, we have the pleasure of selecting riders from a pool of very talented skaters and we are so excited about the team we assembled this year,” said Freeline Skates founder, Ryan Farrelly. “Team Freeline is an essential part of making us such a success and we couldn’t be prouder of them.”
