Experimental and enchanting, the NYC trio’s seventh full-length 23 transports you into a dreamy Matrix-like continuum. The eerie but sweet vocals of Kazu Makino flutter on top of complex melodies. Most tracks are drifting and surreal, with the exception of the rocking “Spring and By Summer Fall” that diversifies the album’s overall hypnosis.
