I’m calling this one. Remember you heard it first at SurfShot.  An Indie label will sign The Ropes in the next year.  In this time they will create an album that will make someone a lot of money.  They will be a household name by the end of 2008 as we continue to see music in this genre grow.  They sound like The Sounds and Eisley combined with a splash of The Cranberries.  They have simple beats that lock you in, brutal lyrics you don’t expect and they’re only just getting started. Once again, keep in mind that you don’t have to like them. The masses of teens will and you’ll have to listen to it either way. If anyone needs an A&R guy, I’m available.
