Surfing 2007 UCSD Longboard Luau

The 14th annual Luau and Longboard Invitational took place August 19, 2007 starting at 7 a.m.  at the beautiful Scripps Pier in La Jolla California.

This event, sponsored by the Rebecca and John Moores UCSD Cancer Center, is one of the most successful surfing related fundraisers in the world.

Each year, professional surfers, surfers from the business world, and surfers who have survived cancer come together to celebrate surfing and raise money for cancer research.

The event has gained an international reputation among surfing enthusiasts in the business and surfing worlds by simultaneously celebrating the "aloha" spirit of surfing and the gracefulness of supporting cancer research and survival.
