The South Side of the pier here in Oceanside is looking really fun this afternoon. With only slight onshore winds that are a bit blocked by the pier structure and mostly waist to Chest high surf that is showing very fast lines and steep takeoffs- this is a best choice for a shortboarder today. Look for some improvement as the tide lowers in the evening! Have fun and enjoy the day.
