SRH Signs Travis Beckman Number 2 Pro Junior
SRH signs # 2 ranked pro junior Travis Beckman
Travis has been a rising star in the surfing world finishing 5th overall in the ‘07 pro junior division and this year he’s sitting 2nd, only a hundred points behind the leader. Travis, who’s been unsponsored for the last 2 years felt it was time to start working with a sponsor again. SRH team manager Justin Poston said, “I couldn’t believe this kid had no major sponsorship, we felt along with Jamie Sterling and Nathan Carvalho he would be a perfect fit for us.”
Travis is in the main event of the US OPEN held in Huntington Beach July 18-27, with fellow SRH team rider Chad Compton. Travis will also be surfing in the pro junior division and try to take over the lead. We are very excited about having Travis as a part of the family.
