Aloha’s Kakou,
‘Hanahou’ouHou!! The Rell Sunn Menehune Surfing Championships were held at Makaha Beach November 23rd, 24th, and 25th 2007. (Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) This was the 32nd Annual Menehune Contest! This Legacy and wish left by my mom will keep thriving with the undying support of all our friends and sponsors! And we greatly appreciate that! This event is 100% focused on the keiki’s to respect the environment and themselves, learn sportsmanship and best of all, the fun, love, and enjoyment that comes with all water sports! Each child feels special about themselves and great in all their achievements! Every keiki-contestant received a Menehune t-shirt and a goody bag and every keiki in the finals wins prizes! Everyone is a winner!!

We have a Non-Profit now and monies will be distributed to Breast Cancer Awareness and Research along with the Menehunes!! Something that we feel very passionate about and is very important to us!
