PRESS RELEASE - SurfCo Hawaii's New Hawaiian Hot Grip

First Ever Clear Molded Surfboard Traction Pad

Hawaii – December 18, 2006 – SurfCo Hawaii, the developers of Nose Guards, Diamond Tips, Quick Fix, Pro Teck fins, and other unique surfing products, proudly introduces Hawaiian Hot Grip, the first ever clear molded traction pad for surfboards.

The one-piece clear grip is made of the same material as Nose Guards. This clear material allows the board and all its design to be seen through the traction pad. State of the art Auto-Cad technology was used to design the grip, creating a streamlined and technical pad that looks like it is part of the surfboard.

An ergonomically design combined with unique air cushions, provides a very comfortable fit and feel for the surfers’ foot. The soft flexible material is non-abrasive and feels more natural to the skin than foam pads.

Water flow channels in the grip, directs watertoward the back of the board and allows the toes to fit and grip the traction with great ease. The perimeter edges of the pad are smooth and beveled for a cleaner look on the deck with less irritation to the knees.

With a heavy duty peel and stick adhesive and the use of the Nose Guard primer, application of the one-piece Hawaiian Hot Grip is quick, easy, and permanent.
