Job Openings - Surf Reporters - North County and San Diego Areas

SurfShot is hiring new surf report photographers to cover the coastal area in North County and/or San Diego. If this is a position that is of interest to you, please email your resume to jobs@surfshot.com.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive to the different beaches specified in your assigned region, taking pictures and shooting short videos of the day's surf conditions.
- Upload photos and content to the SurfShot.com server.
- Describe, in understandable English, the current surf conditions.
- Provide timely and descriptive updates to surf reports.
- Maintain a high standard of quality in one's work consistent with SurfShot Media's expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic Internet and computer skills.
- Own a car with valid registration and insurance.
- Own a digital point-and-shoot camera with video capability: 3.2 Mega pixels minimum and at least 8X optical zoom.*
- Own a cell phone.
- High speed Internet connection at home.

* If you don't own this type of equipment, SurfShot will rent or give you a discount to buy it.
