Surftech welcomes Orion Surfboards to the family
ince 1985, Orion Surfboards and shaper Greg Geiselman have been focused on building the highest quality performance surfboards in the water. Based out of Florida, Orion has long been one of the most recognized names on the East Coast, Greg's signature shapes for his sons, competitive powerhouses Eric & Evan are helping building the Orion label worldwide. Partnering with Surftech, Greg has created three of his most popular models which will be available Winter/Spring 08. The three boards are all Signature TL2 models developed with both of his sons. Included are a 5'7" Evan Geiselman model designed as Evan's everyday board for waves from 1'-6', a 6'0" Eric Geiselman model designed specifically for Eric's progressive approach in small waves and a 6'1" Eric Geiselman model designed as his overall go to board.
Greg Geiselman's background as a former professional surfer with seven years experience on the ASP East Tour and his extensive global travel give him unmatched insight into surfboard design. With more than 18,000 boards to his credit, Greg is a respected international shaper who continues to push performance in the shaping room and in the line-up! While many professional surfers worldwide have been putting Orion boards under their feet, his sons array of competitive successes, including Eric being crowned 2006 ASP North America Pro Junior Champion, Evan's success on the amateur level as both the 2004 NSSA Nationals Open Mini Groms Champion and most recently the 2007 NSSA Nationals Explorer Boys Champion are the clearest examples of the superior performance of his designs. Look to Greg and his sons to continue breaking boarders in progressive surfing through their involvement with Surftech's TL2 technology.
