Tuesday's Forecast

Tuesday looks like a bit of a transition day for the two swell bands hitting the SD region as the latest shot of NW energy will be fading somewhat, but the long-distance SW ground swell will be peaking, which should allow for continued fun-sized, peaky surf. Most average spots will be looking at waist-to-chest high surf, while standout combination breaks should continue to see occasional shoulder high+ surf and fair-to-good shape. It looks like the tidal situation is going to mellow out by Tuesday with a 4.4ft high just before daybreak and the dropping to a mid-low of 2.3ft at 10AM before pushing higher again. AM sessions with the calmer wind and dropping tide should be best…
