We're expecting this modeate NW/SW swell mix to continue providing chest-to-shoulder high surf at most average west facing breaks in SD County, while standout deepater and southerly breaks find occasional head high+ sets during primetime tidal hours. Once again, both beachbreaks and reefs should work well on this swell mix with the long period holding nicely at reefs and structures, while the combination of swells should cross up beackbreaks as well. Watch out for the tidal situation though with the mid-morning high tide slowing things up during the calmer AM hours - might be worth trying to catch dawn patrol sessions combining a rising tide with calmer AM winds.
