On Saturday, it looks like we’re going to start off on the smaller side with most breaks picking up only knee high+ surf through the calmer AM hours. By mid-day, we’re going to see pretty backed off surf compliments of the 5.5ft high around 11:15AM, but by the afternoon hours we should see an increase in both size and push as a new shot of light NW ground swell trickles into the region. So while we certainly will have a little bump on the ocean’s surface from the afternoon onshore flow, the afternoon tidal drop (-0.2ft low at 7PM) in combination with incoming NW swell should provide playful waves with a bit of push for evening sessions.
