Monday's Forecast

On Monday, we are going to see the stronger portion of the SW swell band make its way to the SD region and this is going to translate into some waist-to-chest high+ surf for most average west facing breaks. Look for standout summertime spots in North County and Oceanside to pick up occasional shoulder high+ sets, especially during the mid-day tidal push. Be wary of beachbreaks during the early morning hours as the 9AM low tide will likely close out many of these spots - try to find a structure or reefs during these hours on the lower tide.
