Uncle Mike launches 21-13 Surfboards

 Oceanside loc and long time shaper Uncle Mike is bringing it back into the backyard.  His new line of foam sculptures is called 21-13 Surfboards, cleverly named after the numeric positions of the letters “U.M.” in the alphabet.  Original and new shapes will be grazed by Uncle Mike in his backyard shaping shack, and will be available to purchase for wholesale prices through a 21-13 sales agent, online at 21-13.com, or in very few select stores.  So why the change you ask?

“I’m in the backyard to simply get back to the roots of shaping surfboards.”,  comments Uncle.

In celebration of this momentus occasion, 21-13 is launching the brand with a “Ray BARBEE-Q”.  The Ray BARBEE-Q will take place on November 15^th, 2008, in Uncle Mike’s backyard, 1943 South Tremont Street in Oceanside.  The event is from 12-5pm, and Ray plays at 1pm.  The Gose Bros., Omar, and a special “Mysto Guest” will be pluggin in and jammin throughout the day as well.  This is a family event and everyone is welcome!
