First Annual Surfrider Foundation Art Gala - Send an invitation to a Friend!Tickets are now $125 per coupleWhat: The First Annual Surfrider Foundation Art Gala will include silent and live auctions of surf-themed art and other items, as well as a reception dinner, awards ceremony, slide show from renown surf photographer Aaron Chang, a jazz quartet jam lead by local legend Bob Magnusson, and evening dancing with Ocean Beach's Inside Straight.
Who: You and many other Surfrider supporters who like music, art, food, fun and dancing.
When: Friday, May 4, 2001. Reception begins at 6:30pm.
Where: The Hyatt Regency in La Jolla, California.
Why: To raise awareness of local surf-artists' talents while also spotlighting the environmental issues surrounding San Diego's magnificent coastline. And of course, we hope to raise funds necessary to continue the important work of the local Surfrider chapter.
