Dick Brewer's Birthday Party sponsored by Sacred Craft and Wade Koniakowsky’s Ocean Art

Dick Brewer celebrated his 73rd birthday this weekend in Solana Beach, with 150 friends and relatives. The party took place at Ocean Art on Cedros in Solana Beach. Sponsors included Sacred Craft, Ocean Art, Primo Beer and Wild Rock Wines of New Zealand.

Brewer visiting from his home in Kauai, is here for Sacred Craft as the honoree in the “Tribute to the Masters Shape Off”. Sacred Craft is the consumer Surfboard Expo being held on October 10 and 11 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

Highlights of Brewer’s Birthday Bash included the unveiling of seven new boards shaped by Dick with hand painted original art by Koniakowsky. Brewer was also presented with an oil painting portrait from a photo by Dan Merkel from the early days of his career, compliments of Ocean Art and Sacred Craft.
