“Sunset Splash” Annual Fundraising Gala

 
WHAT: The Sundt Memorial Foundation (SMF) is proud to announce world
champion skateboarder, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, Tony Hawk,
as the honoree for this year’s fundraising Gala, “Sunset Splash”.
Through the Tony Hawk Foundation, Tony has exemplified the Natural
High lifestyle by helping over 3 million children experience the same
excitement he did as a young skateboarder. SMF is also excited to share
that last year’s honorees, award winning band, Switchfoot, has decided
to chair this year’s Honorary Committee. Both Tony and Switchfoot’s
enthusiasm and support for the Natural High cause, along with their
commitment to children and drug-free journeys, make them international
role models and leaders in the Natural High way of life.
 
WHO:  Sundt Memorial Foundation, producers of the successful Natural High ®
DVD Series. Their mission is to change the hearts and minds of youth by
inspiring them to find their natural high and reject drugs.

WHY: Proceeds from this annual event support the production and distribution
of the highly acclaimed Natural High ® DVD Series. This series features
powerful messages from celebrity athletes and musicians, such as Lisa
Leslie, Paul Rodriguez Jr., and Timmy Curran, who encourage youth to
develop their Natural High and reject the use of drugs. The Foundation
distributes this message FREE OF CHARGE via DVD to every
middle school in the country - that’s over 100,000 schools reaching
millions of children.
