A Day at the Beach
KCR's "A Day at the Beach with Clint Beachwood" - a two-hour show every Thursday from 4 - 6 pm that specializes in surf music.
KCR is SDSU's student run radio station and has been broadcasting it's free form style of independent music since 1968. Clint's show consists mostly of music from modern surf bands, such as Slacktone and Pollo Del Mar and San Diego's own Surf Kings, Deoras and even an occasional Agent Orange. He'll mix in some traditional, early sixties surf tunes as well. The music he plays is 98% instrumental.
