The Drifter - An evening and surf film screening with Rob Machado

Join Cardiff's own Rob Machado for the final screening of Hurley and Warner Brother's U.S. film tour for The Drifter , directed by Poor Specimen's Taylor Steele. Machado’s much-anticipated autobiographical surf movie is a personal journey as much as it is a showcase of some of the world’s most flawless waves.

Friday, November 20
6pm - 10pm
Patagonia at Cardiff Reef

Machado will play music with special guest John Swift from 7 - 7:30 pm, followed by a screening of The Drifter.

Be sure to meet Rob for a signed poster or DVD copy of The Drifter between 6 and 7 pm, as well as following the film screening. A Wegener Alaia and some Nixon watches will also be given away.

This outdoor event is free, but donations for the Rob Machado Foundation (www.robmachadofoundation.org) will be gladly accepted at the door. Seating based on a first come first serve basis--and please dress weather appropriate. In case of bad weather, the event will be moved indoors.
