Tyler Warren Show at Surfindian,This Friday Night

The next show opening party at Surfindian will be held this Friday, July 31, from 7:00-11:00 p.m.  The show will feature the art of Tyler Warren (www.artbytylerwarren.com).  I'm really stoked to host this show for Tyler-in addition to being a terrific surfer, Tyler is one helluva artist.  We will have original oil paintings and drawings from Tyler, and we will also be selling limited-edition posters from the show.  I've attached a copy of the show's poster for you to check out.

The show will also feature new, hand-crafted surfboards from Manny Caro of Mandala Surfboards (www.mandalacustomshapes.com) and Josh Hall of Josh Hall Surfboards (www.joshhallsurfboards.com).  These boards are a must-see.

As a special bonus, we will have live acoustic sets from the Japanese Motors and the Growlers.  Alex Knost is the singer/frontman for the Japanese Motors, and to call the band high energy would be an understatement.  I've been following these guys from early on, and they are not to be missed.  The Growlers will also serve up their unique blend of socal folk (it's kinda hard to describe their unique sound).  I had a chance to see them recently, and I was really impressed-they're pretty much in constant rotation for my own music listening.  There will also be music from DJ Geometric to keep the place humming.

I'm really proud to be bringing this show to San Diego.  All in all, I can't think of a better way to spend a summer evening. Come by Friday night, July 31, and help support the San Diego surf and art community.
