Extreme surf and sports athletes help kids stay drug free

La Jolla, CA November 12, 2003 • The Sundt Memorial Foundation and Poor Specimen Productions is pleased to announce the premiere of Natural High 2, the long awaited sequel video to A Natural High: Riding the Drug Free Wave and Taylor Steele’s newest surf video, Campaign on Friday, November 21, 2003 at the Museum of Contemporary Art La Jolla located at 700 Prospect Street in downtown La Jolla.

Narrated by Tony Hawk a world champion skateboarder, NH2 features the most talented extreme sports athletes in action including: Tori Allen • world champion rock climber, Nina Heinberg - Kite Boarder, Crazylegs and Mr. Wiggles • Hip Hop Artists, David Downing, Gretchen Blieler, and Kelly Clark • Olympic Snowboarders, Ricky Carmichael and Travis Pastrana • Motocross, Wendy Fisher - Extreme Skier, and Laird Hamilton • Tow-in Wave Rider. Coupled with Taylor Steele’s newest surf video, Campaign the event will be an evening full of action and energy.

Two showings are scheduled for 7:30pm and 9:15pm. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each showing. Admission is $5.00. The first 50 kids under 14 get in free at each showing. Surfboard drawings and giveaways throughout the evening

The Sundt Memorial Foundation (SMF) is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to drug prevention for youth. Jon Sundt, a local La Jolla businessman, founded SMF in 1994 after losing both of his brothers to drug use. The Natural High video series has been seen throughout the nation by over 1 million kids.
