Mike and Scott's Bike and Surf California Journey Starting This Thursday

We have been doing a lot of work and right on track for our bike and surf adventure commencing on Thursday, May 15th, 2008. We have sponsors that have really gone over the top to help us on our journey. We now have completely sustainable and eco friendly surfgear. For those of you that don't know, we are biking and surfing down the coast of California to raise awareness for two issues near and dear to us: Cancer Research and Environmental Awareness. While doing this we will have all of our surf gear towed behind us on our surfboard trailer made by Quiver Kaddy and equipment trailer made by Equinox Trailers. Essentially, we will be completely self sustaining.
 
 
There is a strong connection between the environment and the rising cases of cancer being reported all over the world. By raising awareness of eco friendly alternatives for surfing and biking we will generate more consumers and companies to start using and creating more sustainable products that will have less of an impact on our environment. A healthier environment leads to a healthier life for all of us and that is the basis of our ride!!!
