Freestyle Surfer Alek Parker on Fuel TV’s “The Daily Habit” Tonight
Freestyle, the leading action sports watch manufacturer, is happy to announce that team rider and professional surfer Alek Parker will appear on FUEL TV’s The Daily Habit tonight at 9:00 pm EDT (6:00 pm PDT). Parker will join host Pat Parnell in the studio to talk about his recent travels and surf trips, as well as his latest business endeavor.
“Wave chaser”, “entrepreneur” and “motivated” have all been words used to describe the Florida native. The 22-year-old preceded his visit to The Daily Habit with a trip to Nicaragua with fellow Freestyle teammate Cory Lopez. The duo scored great waves which will be featured in an upcoming issue of Surfer Magazine.
Parker’s love for epic surf drives him to seek out the next big swell instead of waiting for the waves to come to him. His passion, excitement, creativity and business smarts are put to good use in the company he founded; a film, web and television production company called (321) Entertainment, www.321ent.com. The company’s latest web project is a web series called In Pursuit which follows his team’s quest of following storms throughout the 2006 hurricane season. (321) Entertainment will soon release its first movie titled The Best Laid Plans and will be complete with an east coast tour. “Alek is no doubt one of the hardest working pros in the business, his creative talents go way beyond just surfing, which people will find out when they see his first video project,” said Freestyle Marketing Director Chad LaBass.
The Daily Habit will re-air later this evening at 12:00 am EDT (9:00 pm PDT) and again on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 3:00 pm EDT (12:00 pm PDT) and 6:00 pm EDT (3:00 pm PDT). (Viewers should check local listings as airtimes can vary by location.)
The Daily Habit is FUEL TV’s first original daily series.
