  Yet another 'movie' that will completely (by miles) misrepresent every aspect of surfing while pumping more kooks into the lineup. All the downside for surfers - no upside. Let me get this straight: his character is a Malibu funboard guy who speaks the 'brah' language (see movie poster)?!? And the use of the iconic Greg Noll jailhouse trunks is SACRILEGE! Every Hollywood kook who thinks they've got a bright idea for a surfing movie should be made to feral out 2 months in Indo before they get a chance to create any more celluloid turds about surfing.

  What a flippin kook! If you want to see this kook as a surfer, just watch TMZ and see him and his kook suck ups play surfer dudes. This should bring out even more beginners to advanced breaks. He should just go home and keep playing naked bongo's with his buddies!

  Stop the madness. I saw the preview of this movie. McConaughey totally brands the stereo type movie surfer and ads more misrepresentation to all of us in general. I can't believe Surfshot agreed to do an interview on him. Shame on you guys! This movie will encourage more kooks in the lineup. Kooks on LONGBOARDS!!! Argghhhhhh!!!!

  haha i got a bunch of video of this guy surfing in nicaragua when he was there this last summer.he is a pretty cool normal guy, but acts kinda homoish and is not a very good surfer
