Peel, the Peru Project
Riding the waves off the sparkling shores of Peru is a surfer’s dream. Some of the longest left breaking waves in the world combined with the cultural charm captivated T.J. Barrack and Wes Brown. Monterey media, in conjunction with the Surfrider Foundation, is proud to present their newest film from Little House Productions, "Peel: the Peru Project".
Set right in the center of this dream, "Peel" takes us to the best surfing spots in Peru; with cinematography that is reminiscent of Wes’ grandfather Bruce Brown’s work in "The Endless Summer". Capturing the sport so intensely, one can actually feel the breeze that dances across the ocean and the warm water splashing on your skin. When the credits roll, you can nearly say you have experienced surfing in these exotic waters.
The newest film from the family that made surf film history, the production team of Wes Brown and T.J. Barrack.
Featuring Mark Healey, Jamie Sterling, Sofia Mulanovich, Jesse Colombo, Randy Bonds, Magoo De La Rosa.
The film will be featured in La Jolla one night only, on August 25th with two showings, at 7 pm and 9 pm, at the Museum of Contemporary Arts San Diego, 700 Prospect Street.
Proceeds will help benefit the Surfrider Foundation's growing San Diego Chapter.
