Grab your beach chair and head down to Balboa to enjoy a movie at the beach during the Balboa Performing Arts Theater’s free Family Movie Nite August 23, 2007 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.  The movie will be screened on the beach next to the Balboa Pier in Newport Beach.

Families, friends, residents, surfers and kids are invited to the beach to enjoy this free screening of the NEW surf film from Quiksilver, “Young Guns 3.” The film will be shown on a large screen which will be set up at the west end of Peninsula Park Field next to the Balboa Pier.

The event begins at 6:30 for picnicking and the movie will start at dusk. Food and refreshments are available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Balboa Performing Arts Theater. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and beach chairs.
