Don Balch

Don Balch is a busy photojournalist with hundreds of domestic and international magazine, book and newspaper contributions to his credit. “Rarely a day goes by when I’m not out shooting some sort of different subject matter,” Balch said. “Every day offers new visions of interest.”  Of this month’s state park issue Balch said, “I photographed these different parks and beaches with preservation of their beauty in mind. It’s great that there is this variety of surfing available within the boundaries of the California State Park system. Hopefully, that will ensure the protection of these coastal resources for many generations of surfers to come.”
