Zach Keenan

Zach Keenan has been surfing professionally for over 10 years, and has had the opportunity to travel to numerous, exotic locations, meet incredible people, and experience a unique diversity of cultures, all while surfing some amazing waves. These global experiences fashioned his holistic perspective, which inspired him to attend UC Santa Cruz, where he graduated with Honors in Environmental Studies along with receiving the Dean’s Award for the Division of Social Sciences. Even though he has lived in Hawaii, Northern California, and the South Pacific, his roots keep him calling Cardiff his home.  “I think surfers have such a unique perspective on the natural world, and the more information that is shared creates knowledge, which manifests as awareness, and hopefully inspires activism to protect the things we cherish most.”
