Resolution for 2007: I have a list of over 3,000 surfing websites waiting to be added to Boardfolio.com. This year I'll finally get through them all.  
Surfing success: Creating JettyGirl.com. I've been working with many of the best female surfers in the world and it has truly been an honor. I'd like to applaud SurfShot for launching a girl’s section of the magazine. It's great to see the girls of San Diego get a fresh opportunity at some print coverage.
Life success: Having a successful 15-year marriage is something I'm really proud of. Not only is Rhona my best friend but she's my inspiration as well. A 3rd grade teacher in Carlsbad, it blows my mind how many young lives she's touched over the years. Being a dad is incredible too. Whether we're throwing a ball around the beach or looking at creatures in tide pools, hanging out with my son is one of the greatest blessings in my life.
In 20 years: The use of non-surfer models in girl surf company ads will be a thing of the past. Companies will finally realize that a real surfer girl who throws down a sick turn is indeed marketable.  
In 40 years: Sheesh, I'll be 80. I used to see this guy at the Harbor who was that age. After taking about an hour to get from the parking lot to the water, he would paddle out and ride a few waves straight to the beach. Every time I'd see him out there I'd think about his bros putting together jigsaw puzzles at the old folks home while he was out enjoying the surf. I'm not sure where you are now my friend, but you definitely inspire me to keep surfing until the end.
