Ocean Experience Surf Camp
OCEAN EXPERIENCE SURF SCHOOL AND CAMP WET AND WILD UNITE FOR A WEEK OF SURF INSTRUCTION FOR DISABLED CAMPERSOcean Experience Surf School will be teaming up with Camp Wet and Wild for the 2nd annual surf camp for handicap and disabled people.
In conjunction with the San Diego Park and Recreation Department Therapeutic Services Division, Ocean Experience Surf School will host a four-day surf camp at Crown Point Shores and South Mission Beach Jetty.
The focus of the program is to provide participants the opportunity to experience the joy and thrill of surfing. With a step-by-step surf skill progression, Wet and Wild campers will explore all the fundamentals of surfing through skills including balance training on the Indo Board, paddling progression, the "pop up", catching waves, and oceanography and water safety.
This event will run simultaneously with the Braille Institute for the blind’s Surf Camp also hosted by Ocean Experience Surf School at South Mission Beach Jetty.
