Chris Waring
The Furry Man Child from Seal Beach, this year, affirmed that he’s one of the nation’s top competitive forces to be reckoned with. His nonchalant demeanor on land should not be interpreted as passivity, because when Chris wants something, like good waves and comp wins, he’ll get it…by ripping. The 20 year old didn’t place 2nd in the US Open Pro Junior by hassling and fin flicking to the beach. He did it by sitting out the back, waiting for a clean set wave and then arcing, floating and boosting all the way to the shore. If there is any Pro Junior with a WCT approach it’s Chris.Birth date: 02/05/87
