Emily Vizzo

A member of SurfShot’s team last fall, Emily currently writes Lip Gloss’s “SAM (Style.Art.Music).” A Ventura native, she traveled the world before settling in San Diego to teach and write. This month, she talks with breakthrough songbird Rachael Cantu about the realities of making it as an artist. "I really identified with Rachael's struggle to remain true to her art,” Vizzo said. “I agreed that there's something creepy about having to promote yourself artistically, but when you're starting out it has to be done.”
